Who is Denise?
Denise Monteverde is a senior at Texas Tech University pursuing a BFA in Painting. Denise’s work focuses on empowering anyone who is objectified, spiritual, or lost in a world of fear produced by those in power, and for those who recognize that humanity must have a relationship with the natural world in order to survive. She’s comfortable with her use of color and isn’t afraid of the ideas she's trying to relay. Denise also has experience teaching underprivileged children in East Lubbock and is dedicated to spreading the joy of art to kids and adults alike, hoping to become a teacher after graduating this Fall.
